The Sherbrooke section of the Industrial Workers of the World Union – (IWW/SITT) is establishing a branch!

The Sherbrooke section of the Industrial Workers of the World Union – (IWW/SITT) is establishing a branch! We will be holding the foundation meeting on Thursday the 26th of March, at 187 rue Laurier, in the Alphonse-Desjardins room at 7 pm. 

The purpose of this meeting is to spread the word about the IWW/SITT in Sherbrooke, to establish a branch (which includes the adopting of local bylaws and elections), to present and define upcoming actions, and – of course – sign up as new members all who are interested in joining the struggle!

The IWW/SITT is an inclusive union which, through solidarity and direct action, wishes to create a network of workers that can defend and support each other in order to gain a better control over their workplaces.

Whether you are a worker, a student, or currently unemployed, come to meet us on Thursday the 26th of March!
