Montreal, April 29, 2015
On the eve of the International Day of Workers, the SITT-IWW Montreal seeks to demonstrate its support of fellow workers in the Philippines. Union militants and workers in the Philippines continue to face repression from international capitalists and their accomplices, the government of President Benigno Aquino and local bosses. We strongly denounce this repression and we send all our support and solidarity to the Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU) union, to its national federations and regional formations, and to local unions, as well as to all progressive militants and workers in the Philippines.
Our thoughts go out to you on the occasion of the May1st celebrations, and we stand by your side in this struggle for the advancement of rights, of well-being, and of labour conditions for all workers in the Philippines.
In solidarity!
