“We make, we sell, we pay”, was the slogan of the workers who had recovered managing their watch factory 1973. A worker epic that marked France and the self-management movement. Made in 2007, this film testifies from archive footage and interviews of key actors of the time. Director, Christian Rouaud : “I thought it would be interesting to tell Lip to young people today.” Hopefully the film stimulus flame…

Synopsis :

The movie gives to see and hear the men and women who led the most emblematic workers strike post 68, the factory LIP in Besançon.

An incredible movement of struggle, which lasted several years, mobilized multitudes in France and Europe, multiplied illegal actions without yielding to the temptation to violence, increased direct democracy and imagination incandescent.

Interweaving stories, The portraits, a collective history, to try to understand why this strike carried the hopes and dreams of a generation.
